For the 3 months I’ve worked with Nat I have made massive improvements to my emotional, mental, and physical health. Before consulting with her, I had a diet full of fast food and frozen meals. I had chronic digestion problems and low self confidence- each day I felt like physical and emotional garbage. I knew I needed to make a change to my diet but had no idea where to start- I felt so overwhelmed by all the fad diets and buzz words. Where’s the best place to start- Keto? Vegetarian? Cut sugar? Paleo? Cut carbs? Count calories? I didn’t know what any of these meant, let alone know how to cook anything other than a frozen meal.
Consulting with Nat gave me back control over my life. She developed a healthy meal plan and worked with me to ensure I could stick to it- so that it would become a lifestyle, not a short term diet. She offered tools, resources and ideas to help me to feel more comfortable grocery shopping and cooking with ingredients I had literally never touched before. She holds me accountable, yet also reminds me that it’s OK if I have a bad day sometimes- but to get back on the horse and keep going.
In the 3 months of working with Nat, I have lost 14 pounds. However, the truly important long term effects can be seen elsewhere. My digestive system has done a complete 180 and is in a regular routine - for the first time in my life. My self esteem is lightyears higher then when I began, and my energy levels are more constant. I feel confident navigating through the produce and meat sections of the grocery store, and can cook myself solid, well-rounded meals. I would not have been able to make the progress I have if it weren’t for Nat. I can’t speak highly enough of her!
